AI Content Policy

This policy establishes the conditions under which large language models (LLMs) and other artificial intelligence systems may access, use, and train on the public content of Ingenia available at https://ingenia.la.

This policy complements and should be read together with our robots.txt and llms.txt files.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All public content available at https://ingenia.la, including:
    • Text from web pages, articles, blogs, and documentation
    • Images, graphics, logos, and infographics
    • Metadata, site structure, and links

This policy does NOT apply to:

  • Private or confidential information
  • Programmatic API endpoints
  • Forms and their submissions
  • Password-protected or restricted access content

2. Relationship with robots.txt and llms.txt

AI agents must comply with:

  1. This AI content policy
  2. Our robots.txt file
  3. Our llms.txt file (if available)

In case of conflict between these policies, the most restrictive one shall prevail.

3. General Policy

Status: Conditional

We allow the use of our public content by AI systems under the conditions specified in this policy and in our llms.txt file.

4. License and Attribution

License

Our public content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

This means you may:

  • ✅ Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • ✅ Adapt: remix, transform, and build upon the material

Under the following conditions:

  • ⚠️ Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made
  • ❌ Non-Commercial: You may not use the material for commercial purposes, including training AI models for commercial use without express permission

Required Attribution

When using our content, you must include:

  • The name "Ingenia" prominently
  • A visible link to https://ingenia.la
  • An indication of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license

Example attribution:

"This content is based on material from Ingenia, licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0."

5. Permitted Uses

We allow the use of our content for:

  • Academic and educational research that is non-commercial
  • Development and demonstration of AI tools for non-commercial purposes
  • Analysis and processing of content for understanding, indexing, or search purposes that are non-commercial
  • Brief quotations with appropriate attribution in educational or informational contexts

6. Prohibited Uses

We explicitly prohibit:

  • ❌ Commercial model training: You may not use our content to train AI models that will be used commercially without express written permission
  • ❌ Mass reproduction: You may not republish large amounts of our content
  • ❌ Trademark violations: You may not use our content in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement by Ingenia
  • ❌ Technical circumvention: You may not circumvent technical measures implemented to protect our content

7. Operational Rules for Crawlers and LLMs

If you operate a crawler or AI system that accesses our site, you must comply with:

  1. Respect robots.txt: Follow all rules specified in our robots.txt file
  2. Identify properly: Use a descriptive User-Agent that identifies your bot or system
  3. Rate limiting: Limit requests to no more than 1 request per second
  4. Avoid overload: Do not make excessive concurrent requests that may overload our servers
  5. Respect exclusions: Do not access routes specified in the "disallow" section of our llms.txt file

8. Exclusion Requests and Rights

If you wish to exclude specific content from your dataset or have questions about compliance with this policy, please contact us at ** compliance@ingenia.la** with:

  • Information about your bot or AI system
  • The purpose of content use
  • Any specific exclusion requests

We also respect your rights under applicable data protection and intellectual property laws.

9. Exceptions and Special Permissions

For uses that go beyond this policy (such as commercial model training), we offer custom licensing agreements. Contact us at growthoperations@ingenia.la to discuss these opportunities.

10. Updates to this Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Substantive updates will be published on this page with a new effective date.
